Privacy information for mobility analyses
OTTIMO MOBILITY
This information explains how Ottimo Mobility s.r.l. processes the data you enter in this questionnaire and in the related mobility analyses. It concerns only the processing of your travel data; information about the website and cookies is set out in a separate document.
Roles: who does what
This questionnaire is provided to you as part of an assignment given to Ottimo by a client — typically your employer, a university or a public authority. That organisation is the data controller: it determines the purposes and the legal basis for collecting the data and provides you, where applicable, with the specific privacy information relating to its own processing.
Ottimo acts as the data processor: we process your data solely on the instructions and on behalf of the controller, on the basis of a data processing agreement (DPA). The processing is not based on your consent. For the specific legal basis and purposes, you can contact the controller (your employer or the commissioning body).
What data we process
For the mobility analyses we process data about your journeys, in particular the origin address (e.g. the residential area) and the destination, as well as the answers you provide in the questionnaire. This data is necessary to calculate the most efficient route combinations and travel times.
Data minimisation
We apply the principle of data minimisation. We do not ask for the exact house number. To calculate routes and travel times we use external mapping and routing services. Distance and route calculations are performed server-side: your IP address is not transmitted to these suppliers.
Retention
By default we retain data for 12 months, unless the controller (e.g. the employer or the public body) requests a different period or the law prescribes a different term.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. As Ottimo acts as a processor, to exercise these rights we ask you to contact the controller (your employer or the commissioning body); if you nevertheless contact Ottimo directly, we will forward your request to the competent controller or refer you to them.
Contact
For questions about Ottimo’s processing of your data, you can write to info@ottimomobility.com. For questions about the purposes and legal basis of the processing, please contact the controller.
