Privacy & Cookie Statement

OTTIMO MOBILITY

At Ottimo Mobility s.r.l., your privacy is central to what we do. This statement explains how we, as data controller, process the personal data of visitors to our website and of our (prospective) customers. The processing of travel data in the context of the mobility analyses, where Ottimo acts as a processor, is described in a separate document. As legislation, technology and services continuously evolve, this statement may be updated; the most recent version is always available on our website.

Protecting your data

We value the security of your data and apply strict security protocols. In the unlikely event that you find indications that the protection of your data is inadequate, or if you suspect a data breach, please contact us immediately at info@ottimomobility.com.

What data we process and why

As a controller, we collect data from our (prospective) customers and from other parties who purchase our services or share information with us. We process this data to manage business relationships, respond to enquiries, send newsletters and company information, and inform you about product changes. We retain this data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

The legal basis for this processing is, depending on the case, the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, our legitimate interest in managing and promoting our business, or your consent, for example for newsletter subscription. Every newsletter offers the option to unsubscribe via info@ottimomobility.com.

Cookies

Our website uses technical and functional cookies, which are necessary for the proper functioning of the site and to remember your preferences. These cookies do not require consent. Should analytical or other non-essential cookies be used, we will ask for your consent via a cookie banner, which you can change or withdraw at any time through the site settings.

Sharing information

Your data will only be shared with third parties where strictly necessary to provide you with our services or to comply with legal requirements. We may also publish aggregated and anonymous statistics, which cannot be traced back to individual persons. Ottimo may share data with its suppliers where necessary for our operations; on request, via info@ottimomobility.com, you can see which suppliers we share data with and what data is involved.

Retention of your data

We retain data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described. For contact data of customers and prospective customers, the default retention period is 24 months from the last contact, unless a different period is required by law or necessary for an ongoing contractual relationship. Afterwards, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights regarding personal data

The personal data we use remains yours. You therefore have the right to access the data we hold about you. You can send us: a data portability request; an erasure request (right to be forgotten); an access request; a rectification and completion request; a request to restrict processing; an objection request against the processing.

Our first duty on receiving such a request is to identify the data subject, to ensure we do not disclose your personal data to third parties. Following identification, we will in principle process your request within 30 days; if this is not possible, we will inform you.

Questions or complaints?

You have the right to send us a question or complaint about the processing of your personal data via info@ottimomobility.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
